We recently got the sony A77, it has so many bells and whistles I'm pretty lost. The camera actually tells you what it does, but sometimes I'm so lost I don't even know what to ask it. I bought the Sony field guide in an attempt to learn more about my camera. After researching and reading reviews of the several books out there, I ordered both David Busch's, this guide and the more in depth guide (which I haven't received yet).I like that this guide is smaller and spiral bound, it will be perfect to carry in the car or my purse (my large purse) so I can take it with me and use it for quick reference. The pictures that go along with the text are incredibly helpful for a visual learner like me. I find the text to be simple to understand and the explanations clear and concise.If I have one quibble with this book it's that I wish it was dedicated only to the A77. I sometimes find the "If you have the 65 this control is the ..., it's this control on the 77." the larger book I bought is dedicated to the A77.
