Reviews
Package arrived in good condition and on time. I think my faverite part about this book is that it actually looks like it was hand drawn. Not a lot of books out there like this due to photo shop. I have nothing agianst photoshop but it is very unique to books like this. The second part that I liked about it was how it is focussed on how the charaters are drawn. All 50 cats are very well thought out and it is easy to see how the artist came to the final piece in each sketch. This teaches you how to sketch cats its not a book with art that is there to look at. The point of drawing is knowing how to go from a sketch to a finished piece of art that actually looks believable. Your not going to learn anything unless you go through the steps and see what your drawing in many shapes not just a pretty blob with hair.Thew two things I did not like about it is that it would have been nice to see how to shade using hatching and cross hatching. Secone it would be nice to see the artists opinion on possable ways to display facial epression. Then agian I am a cartoon and fantasy artist so this may be just something that does not apply to this book due to the type of art it teaches. Over all five out of five for me.
